MERCED, Calif. — Teenaged open-wheel racer Ryan Timms won the 360 winged sprint car feature on Wednesday’s Midget Madness racing program at Merced Speedway.
Timms started his familiar No. 5t winged sprint car on the pole and won the 30-lap event on the quarter-mile dirt track ahead of Tanner Carrick.
Gauge Garcia finished third, with Dominic Scelzi and Colby Copeland rounding out the top five.
