Sweet Stays Steady In National Sprint Car Rankings

CONCORD, N.C. – Brad Sweet grabbed his 11th 410 winged sprint car victory of the season Thursday night at Iowa’s 34 Raceway and continues to lead the National Sprint Car Rankings.

The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series point leader, who scored his 10th WoO victory at 34 Raceway, has an average finish of 5.167 in 36 starts aboard the Kasey Kahne Racing with Mike Curb No. 9.

David Gravel continues to hold down the second spot in the rankings with a 5.778 average finish in 36 starts.

Carson Macedo, Donny Schatz, who earned his 300th World of Outlaws victory on Friday night at Dubuque (Iowa) Speedway, and Austin McCarl round out the top five in the national rankings.

Fifty-one drivers have reached the 20-start requirement to be eligible for the rankings.

Anthony Macri leads Freddie Rahmer by four points in the Eastern region standings. Dominic Scelzi remains atop the Western region.

Sweet leads the Mid-America region and Cole Macedo remains on top of the Great Lakes region.

Justin Henderson has regained the lead in the Great Plains region standings.

One hundred and 12 drivers have combined to win the 210 features run.
