Sweet Stays Steady Atop Sprint Car Rankings

World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series point leader Brad Sweet continues to lead the National Sprint Car Rankings after a week where he improved his average finish.

With 35 drivers having now reached the 20 starts required to be ranked, Sweet’s average finish of 5.577 is nearly a full position better than second-place Danny Dietrich.

Dietrich, who won the Ohio Speedweek opener at Attica Raceway Park, has an average finish of 6.571 in 35 starts this season.

Carson Macedo, Anthony Macri and David Gravel round out the top five.

Despite racing in Iowa last weekend, Anthony Macri continues to lead the Eastern region. Dominic Scelzi remains at the top of the Western region standings.

Joe B. Miller has moved to the top of the Mid-America region, while Cole Macedo retained the lead in the Great Lakes region.

Austin McCarl heads the Great Plains points. With six victories this season, A.J. Flick leads the PA-Ohio region standings.

Eighty-two drivers have combined to win 164 features run this season.
