Sweet Stays On Top Of National Sprint Rankings

Brad Sweet, who leads the High Limit Racing standings, remains at the top of the National Sprint Car Rankings for a second consecutive week.

Sweet has an average finish of 4.464 in 28 events this season.

Carson Macedo has ridden a recent hot streak to second in the national rankings with a 5.148 average finish in 27 events. World of Outlaws point leader David Gravel is third.

Tyler Courtney and Donny Schatz complete the top five.

Forty-three drivers have made the mandatory 20 starts to be eligible for the national rankings.

Danny Dietrich continues to pace the Eastern region, while Justin Sanders leads the Western standings.

Sweet moved to the top of the Mid-America region standings, while Cale Thomas, who won Sunday’s Ohio Speedweek feature, leads the Great Lakes region.

Austin McCarl, a winner Sunday at Huset’s Speedway, moved to the top of the Great Plains standings.

A.J. Flick won a pair of features over the weekend and extended his advantage in the PA-OH region. Trey Starks continues to lead the Northwestern standings.

Gravel and Anthony Macri lead the nation with eight victories each.

Ninety-four drivers have won the 170 features run so far this season.
