Sweet Maintains Grip On Sprint Rankings Lead

CONCORD, N.C. – Two-time World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series champion Brad Sweet remains on top of the National Sprint Car Rankings for the fifth consecutive week.

With a weekly racing victory at Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway on Saturday night, Sweet has won 10 features this season and has a national-best average finish of 4.759 in 29 starts.

David Gravel remains second with an average finish of 5.786 in 28 races.

Carson Macedo, Donny Schatz and James McFadden round out the top five.

Thirty drivers have reached 20-start requirement to be eligible for the rankings.

Anthony Macri leads the Eastern region standings with Dominic Scelzi leading the Western region.

Sweet tops the Mid-America region, while Cole Macedo has taken the top spot in the Great Lakes region and Carson McCarl leads the Great Plains region.

Eighty-seven drivers have combined to win the 147 features run.
