MOORESVILLE, N.C. – As the winged 410 sprint car season enters its final six weeks, Brad Sweet continues to hold a commanding advantage on top of the National Sprint Car Rankings.
Sweet, who leads the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series standings, boasts an average finish of 3.237 in 74 starts this season.
Carson Macedo banked $75,000 for winning Saturday’s National Open at Pennsylvania’s Williams Grove Speedway and he ranks second with a 4.159 average finish in 78 races.
David Gravel, Donny Schatz and Anthony Macri round out the top five.
Lance Dewease (Eastern), Dominic Scelzi (Western), Kyle Bellm (Mid-America), D.J. Foos (Great Lakes), Brendan Mullen (Great Plains), Jack Sodeman Jr. (PA-OH) and James McFadden (Northwest) are the regional leaders.
One hundred and 63 drivers have combined to win the 465 features run.Â
