Sweet Holds Serve Atop National Sprint Rankings

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Despite having not won a race for several weeks, Brad Sweet continues to hold serve atop the National Sprint Car Rankings.

Dropping his worst finishes with every race he runs, Sweet’s average finish is now at 3.480 in 59 starts. Sweet has a national-best 15 feature victories this season.

Carson Macedo ranks second in the standings with a 4.0 average finish in 64 starts, while Donny Schatz, who sits third, has closed the gap with an average finish of 4.380 in 64 races.

David Gravel and Kyle Larson round out the top five.

One hundred and 20 drivers have made the 20 starts required to qualify for the National Sprint Car Rankings.

Lance Dewease (Eastern), Dominic Scelzi (Western), Kasey Burch (Mid-America), D.J. Foos (Great Lakes), Austin McCarl (Great Plains) and Brandon Matus (PA-OH) are the regional leaders.

One hundred and 49 drivers have combined to win the 368 features run.
