CONCORD, N.C. – Two-time World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series champion Brad Sweet and David Gravel, who won two features this past week, remain at the top of the National Sprint Car Rankings.
Sweet leads for the sixth straight week, but Gravel has slightly cut into his advantage.
Sweet has an average finish of 4.839 in 31 starts, while Gravel ranks second with a 5.677 average finish in 31 races.
Carson Macedo, Donny Schatz and All Star Circuit of Champions point leader Tyler Courtney round out the top five.
Forty-one drivers have reached 20-start requirement to be eligible for the rankings.
With Anthony Macri racing in the Midwest, Danny Dietrich returned to the top of the Eastern region standings. Dominic Scelzi leads the Western region.
Sweet tops the Mid-America region, while Cole Macedo, who scored his third victory of the season Saturday at Fremont Speedway, leads the Great Lakes region.
Carson McCarl continues to pace the Great Plains region.
One hundred and one drivers have combined to win the 172 features run.
