Still Macedo On Top In National Sprint Car Rankings

Carson Macedo holds a slim lead over fellow World of Outlaws driver David Gravel in the final August edition of the National Sprint Car Rankings.

Macedo has a 3.880 average finish in 59 races this season, while Gravel is slightly behind with a 3.940 average in 58 races.

World of Outlaws point leader Brad Sweet ranks third with a 4.120 average finish in 57 starts.

Anthony Macri and Brent Marks round out the top five.

Nineteen drivers have reached 50 starts and can drop their worst finishes up until they hit the 65-race mark.

One hundred and 24 drivers have made the 20 starts required to be eligible for the rankings and 846 racers have run a winged 410 sprint car race this season.

Freddie Rahmer holds the top spot in the Eastern region, while Joe B. Miller has a commanding advantage in the Mid-America region.

Cap Henry leads the Great Lakes region, with Dobmeier on top of the Great Plains region.

Day paces the Western stanza with Trey Starks on top in the Northwest region. A.J. Flick anchors the PA-Ohio region.

One hundred and 42 drivers have combined to win the 380 features run this season. 

Rahmer leads the country with 15 victories.
