EASTABOGA, Ala. — Ricky Stenhouse Jr. doubled down in USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour sprint car competition on Saturday night at the Talladega Short Track.
With Friday’s feature delayed by rain, two main events were run during Saturday’s program with Stenhouse taking the checkered flag first in both races.
Stenhouse started seventh in the opener and made a late-race pass of polesitter Morgan Havener (Turpen) to grab the lead.
Havener finished second, with Terry Gray, Dale Howard and Zane Devault rounding out the top five.
Stenhouse romped from seventh again in the nightcap to take the checkered flag ahead of Kyle Amerson.
Devault, Tyler Clem and Hayden Martin rounded out the top five.
