CHATHAM, La. — USCS Thunder Tour point leader Mark Smith got back to winner’s circle Saturday night during the finale of the two-night USCS Winter Heat event at Chatham Speedway.
After being defeated in USCS competition for the first time this season on Friday night, Smith raced from sixth starting spot to win the 30-lap main event.
It was his sixth USCS victory in seven races this year and his seventh overall triumph.
Ohio veteran Greg Wilson finished second with Koty Adams, Channin Tankersley and Tony Stewart rounding out the top five.
