Reese Doubles Up With NOW 600 At Red Dirt

MEEKER, Okla. — Brecken Reese doubled up on feature wins while Ollie Geiger picked up his first feature win of the season on Friday night with the Dirt2Media NOW 600 Micro Sprint National Championship presented by Hi Plains Building Division at Red Dirt Raceway.

A field of 69 entries were on hand for the opening round of Micro Meltdown at the quarter-mile red clay oval. Of those 69, 28 drivers checked in for non-wing, 26 A-Class and 15 restricted.

Reese started off the night picking up the feature win in NOW 600 Non-Wing competition. Blayne Buntin finished in the runner up spot with Johnny Boland rounding out the podium. Frank Flud came across fourth with Colton Robinson making up the top five.

Doubling up on the evening, Reese went to victory in NOW 600 A-Class competition after taking the lead on lap 17. Colton Robinson crossed in the second spot with Kaden Weger finishing in third. Jadyn Friesen was fourth after starting ninth with Degan Lelsz the top five.

Geiger led wire-to-wire to pick up the 25-lap feature event in NOW 600 Restricted. Deekan McRoberts drove to a second place finish with Jude Allgayer making up the podium. Ty Fulghum finished in the fourth spot with Garyn Howard grabbing the fifth spot.
