Recovery Continues For Ashton Torgerson

Getting into the month of February, and with racing starting to get rolling in various regions of the country, Ashton Torgerson’s recovery continues.

Torgerson was involved in an accident at the Chili Bowl Nationals on January 11, that sent him to the hospital. The driver of the No. 1i was cleared to leave the hospital three days later.

Going into his recent checkup last week, Torgerson’s doctors were pleased with his recovery, but do note he still has some healing to do.

Hoping to get cleared to race at some point in February, Torgerson is scheduled for another checkup at the end of the month before any clearance can be issued. As a result, the 16-year-old won’t be cleared to return to racing until March at the soonest.

With a couple of big races on the schedule in March, the Rowdy Energy athlete is poised to be patient and continue to rest in hopes of being cleared to return to racing action in March in Arizona.
