Recent Surge Keeps Macedo On Top In Sprint Rankings

With a victory Saturday night at Minnesota’s Ogilvie Raceway, Carson Macedo has strengthened his place at the top of the National Sprint Car Rankings.

Macedo, who leads the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series standings by 10 points over Brad Sweet, has an average finish of 4.931 in 29 races this season.

Sweet also ranks second in the National Sprint Car Rankings with an average finish of 5.552 in 29 starts.

David Gravel, Rico Abreu and Pennsylvania-based driver Devon Borden round out the top five.

Thirty-five drivers have now made the 20 starts required to be eligible for the National Sprint Car Rankings.

Six hundred and 15 drivers have started at least one 410 winged sprint car feature this season.

Anthony Macri leads the Eastern region standings and Joe B. Miller tops the Mid-America region.

Cap Henry extended his advantage in the Great Lakes region by sweeping weekend features at Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway in Ohio.

A winner Sunday at Huset’s Speedway, Chase Randall leads the Great Plains region.

Corey Day is the best in the Western region.

A.J. Flick won a pair of features en route to the Western PA Speedweek title and continues to lead the PA-Ohio region. Trey Starks paces the Northwestern region with three victories in three starts.

Eighty-three drivers have combined to win the 164 features run so far this season.

Freddie Rahmer leads the country with seven victories.
