Peck Holds Eastern Sprint Rankings Lead, Mid-America Opens

Two regions are now open for competition within the National Sprint Car Rankings, as two World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series events opened the Mid-America region.

Four-time World of Outlaws champion Brad Sweet picked up a victory at Magnolis (Miss.) Motor Speedway and leads the Mid-America region over David Gravel.

Justin Peck remains on top of the Eastern Region, with 600 points in 13 starts. Anthony Macri, who won his first race of the season Sunday at Pennsylvania’s BAPS Motor Speedway, ranks second.

Drivers must reach 20 starts on the season before the National Rankings officially open.

Twelve drivers have combined to win the 18 features run so far this season. David Gravel, who leads the World of Outlaws standings, has won a national-best three main events.
