APOLLO, Pa. – Sye Lynch has unveiled his plans for a full racing campaign, made possible by long-time partner Mosites Motorsports, as well as an all-new assembly of marketing partners including Missouri-based Fischer Body Shop and Hollywood Blasting and Coating, made possible by Josh Baughman and Baughman Motorsports.
Together, Sye Lynch, Sye Lynch Racing and his partners plan to enter upwards of 80 events during the new year, highlighting their schedule with some of sprint car racing’s premier showcases including Eldora Speedway’s Kings Royal and Knoxville Raceway’s coveted Knoxville Nationals.
“I couldn’t be more excited,” Lynch said, a third generation racer out of Apollo, Pennsylvania. “To have Fischer Body Shop and Baughman Motorsports join our efforts at Sye Lynch Racing is pretty special. We’ve been working on these plans for over four months. I’m not sure how we were able to keep it a secret this long, but it’s out there now. I’m ready to get started.”
Although an exact schedule layout for Sye Lynch and Sye Lynch Racing is still in the building process, Lynch hopes to unveil a complete schedule within the next few weeks.
“We are still working out the logistics side of things,” Lynch continued. “I hope to have a complete plan of attack released in the coming weeks. I just want to thank all of my partners for their dedication and support. Our goal is to go out every night and put on a show. I’m confident we have what it takes to do that.”
Although stepping back from competition from a full-time basis, Josh Baughman, who finished seventh in the 2020 All Star Circuit of Champions driver standings, will also return to action in 2021. The Odessa, Texas-native will compete in 10-15 events during the upcoming season; an exact schedule will be determined in the near future.
“We are excited about this new venture with Sye Lynch,” Josh Baughman explained. “He’s a talented kid with the hunger to win and we’re proud to be affiliated. I think it’s safe to say that we are all anxious to get the year underway.”
