Nobody Can Touch Sweet In Latest Sprint Car Rankings

Brad Sweet just keeps chugging along.

The three-time World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series champion continues to lead the National Sprint Car Rankings despite having won only one race this season.

Sweet, who also leads the World of Outlaws standings, has an average finish of 5.750 in 28 starts.

After winning the Dean Knittel Memorial at Ohio’s Portsmouth Raceway Park, Brent Marks jumped to second in the rankings, boasting a 6.472 average finish in 36 races.

World of Outlaws driver Carson Macedo ranks third, with Danny Dietrich and Anthony Macri rounding out the top five.

Forty-three drivers have now made the 20 starts required to be eligible for the rankings, with 654 drivers having started at least one 410 winged sprint car feature this season.

Macri, who is the winningest driver in the country with 12 victories, continues to lead the Eastern region. Dominic Scelzi remains at the top of the Western region standings.

Jason Keith has moved to the top of the Mid-America region, while Tyler Courtney jumped to the top of Great Lakes region standings.

Austin McCarl heads the Great Plains points. With seven victories this season, A.J. Flick leads the PA-Ohio region standings.

Eighty-seven drivers have combined to win 185 features run this season.
