HOLLY, Mich. – The Maxima Racing Oils Must See Racing Midwest Lights will be back in action this weekend with two full racing programs at M-40 Speedway in Jones, Mich.
The series will be returning to action for the first time since late August.
To date, the second year series is enjoying a highly competitive 2021 season. Through seven events thus far in 2021, there have been six different winners. Only Joey Wyckoff has scored multiple victories.
The point championship is starting to enter the final stretch of the season. Current leader Joey Wyckoff has only a 25-point margin over Joshua Sexton. Sexton has emerged as a potential title contended based on his recent success. Sexton found victory lane at the last event Aug. 21 in DeGraff, Ohio. Defending MSR Lights champion J.J. Henes currently sits in third place only 29 points behind Sexton.
This weekends action kicks off Friday night with an open practice followed by a complete racing program Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. The 2021 MSR Lights season will conclude Oct. 17 at Lorain Raceway Park where a 2021 champion will be crowned.
