Moore Sweeps Through Thunderhill USCS Run

SUMMERTOWN, Tenn. – Howard Moore raced from the K&N Filters Pole Position into victory lane with the United Sprint Car Series Saturday night at Thunderhill Raceway Park.

It marked a sweep of the night for the Memphis, Tenn., native, who won the Hoosier Speed Dash to open the program and then topped his heat race before finishing the job in the 30-lap feature.

Moore was chased to the finish line by Dale Howard, with 13-time series champion Terry Gray, outside polesitter Landon Britt and Slater Helt filling the top five.

Current USCS point leader Danny Smith, a National Sprint Car Hall of Famer, finished sixth in the 17-car field.
