TEMPLETON, Calif. – After pairing for the final event in the season at Stockton Dirt Track, F&F Racing will make Kaleb Montgomery its regular driver for the upcoming season, with focus around the Sprint Car Challenge Tour and weekly events at Placerville (Calif.) Speedway.
“After working with the F&F Racing team at Stockton, I am extremely excited for the opportunity to join the team on a weekly basis in 2022,” Montgomery said. “Since I began racing, I have yet to chase after a track or a series championship, so I am excited to have that opportunity as well with this deal.”
The F&F team has been a perennial championship contender since the team came to fruition, as the team has accounted for 11 track or series championships along with 76 feature wins.
As he alluded, Montgomery will look to make his mark with the storied team as he will compete for championships at Placerville Speedway championship and with the Sprint Car Challenge Tour.
Montgomery’s knowledge of sprint cars has increased over the past few years, going from a 10-year-old racing sparingly to maintaining his family-owned cars.
This past year could be considered a coming-out party for Montgomery with his first career Sprint Car Challenge Tour win in dramatic fashion at Petaluma Speedway and another win at the Howard Kaeding Classic.
“I had fun racing with the F&F team at Stockton in November and left the track that night wishing there was another Placerville race to be ran and now I will get that opportunity a lot,” Montgomery said. “Really excited for this opportunity and cannot wait to get to the track.”
F&F Racing will continue to receive support from C&H Motor Parts, Lucas Oil, Geico Local Office, Econo Lube-n-Tune & Brakes, Pacific Highway Rentals, PitStopUSA, FVP, CRV Carbon Solutions, American River Overhead Door, All Pro Heads, Engler and Don Ott Racing Engines.
