GREENCASTLE, Ind. — The Honest Abe Roofing Maverick Wing Sprint Car Series schedule will feature five different race tracks across Indiana and Illinois next season.
Negotiations are ongoing with additional tracks that have expressed interest in a date for the upcoming season as well.
The schedule is highlighted by the June 20-23 Maverick Mayhem co-sanctioned by the Interstate Racing Association.
“Our goal has been to begin with a 15-16-race schedule and the interest has certainly been gratifying,” Jill Spiker of J.S. Promotions said. “We have enjoyed a long relationship with the Helfrich family and are delighted that Tri-State Speedway has joined us and we are also excited to take our product to Red Hill Raceway in Illinois.
“We are also pleased to bring wing sprint cars to the Terre Haute Action Track. Not only is the Action Track an iconic facility but it is the only half-mile dirt track in Indiana.”
