Marathon Butler Sprint Goes Ruhl’s Way

QUINCY, Mich. – Ryan Ruhl came out on top of a marathon Great Lakes Super Sprints feature to take the $2,000 victory on Saturday night.

In a 25-lapper that took just over an hour to conclude from the time the initial green flag was called, Ruhl took the top spot from Phil Gressman on lap 11 and led the rest of the way at Butler Motor Speedway.

Gressman hung on for second, 1.32 seconds adrift after pacing laps nine and 10. Jared Horstman, who was out front for the first eight laps, finished in third.

Chase Ridenour and Keith Sheffer were fourth and fifth, respectively, followed by Connor Morrell, Jay Steinebach, Kenny Mackey, Logan Easterday and Frank Neill.
