Macri Surges As Marks Holds Top Spot In Rankings

Entering the final two months of the season, Brent Marks remains atop the National Sprint Car Rankings.

Marks, who has won 15 features this season, has a 3.113 average finish in 68 starts.

Anthony Macri, who won the Tuscarora 50 and its $60,000 top prize Saturday night at Pennsylvania’s Port Royal Speedway, ranks second with a 3.737 average finish in 72 races. Macri has won a national-best 20 features.

World of Outlaws traveler Carson Macedo is third with a 3.760 average finish in 63 starts.

Danny Dietrich and All Star Circuit of Champions point leader Tyler Courtney complete the top five.

Regional leaders are Macri (Eastern) Dominic Scelzi (Western), Jason Keith (Mid-America), Cole Macedo (Great Lakes), Mark Dobmeier (Great Plains), Trey Starks (Northwestern) and A.J. Flick (PA-Ohio).

Justin Peck leads the national with 81 races run.

One hundred and 41 have combined to win 399 features run this season.
