Macri Leads PA Speedweek To BAPS

YORK HAVEN, Pa. — Anthony Macri will be looking to win his third straight feature to open the 32nd annual Pennsylvania Speedweek as the series visits BAPS Motor Speedway tonight.

SPEED SPORT Network affiliate DirtTrackDigest.tv will broadcast the event live with racing scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

Macri won Friday night’s opening Speedweek race at Williams Grove Speedway and followed it up with another victory in round two last night at Lincoln Speedway. Justin Peck, who won the recent Ohio Speedweek title, finished second in both races.

Among the other challengers in tonight’s event will be Brent Marks, who won last year’s Speedweek round at BAPS Motor Speedway and reigning PA Speedweek champion Danny Dietrich.

The popular super sportsman cars will also be on tonight’s program.

It will be the first of four PA Speedweek events that will be broadcast by DirtTrackDigest.tv. The other events will be Tuesday’s (June 28) Hodnett Cup at Grandview Speedway, Thursday’s (June 30) Hagerstown Speedway round and the series finale at Selinsgrove Speedway on July 3.
