Macri First To Hit 20 Starts, Leads National Sprint Car Rankings

Anthony Macri, who leads the nation with five winged 410 sprint car victories this season has become the first driver to reach 20 starts and become eligible for the National Sprint Car Rankings.

As the only driver ranked, Macri has an average finish of 7.850 in his 20 races. Three drivers have 17 starts this season, with six of the seven regions now open for competition.

Danny Dietrich leads the Eastern region by 21 points over Macri. Brent Marks continues to pace the Western region and Nate Dussel remains on top in the Great Lakes stanza.

World of Outlaws point leader David Gravel remains on top in the Mid-America region and Tim Estenson leads the Great Plains region.

Brandon Spithaler and Hall of Famer Danny Smith are tied atop the Ohio-PA region.

Thirty-eight drivers have won the 56 features run so far this season.

Macri leads the nation with five victories.
