MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Carson Macedo has moved to the top of the National Sprint Car Rankings with a 6.381 average finish in 21 starts.
Macedo is one of 11 drivers who have made the required 20 starts to be eligible for the national rankings. Donny Schatz, last week’s leader, ranks second.
Justin Peck, Sheldon Haudenschild and Aaron Reutzel round out the top five.
Danny Dietrich leads the Eastern region standings over Peck, while Reutzel leads the Western region.
Brad Sweet tops the Mid-America region and Gary Taylor leads the way in the Great Lakes point battle.
With a victory at Iowa’s Knoxville Raceway, Austin McCarl leads the Great Plains region.
Fifty-one drivers have combined to win the 74 features run.
