Jedrzejek Nips Stambaugh In Michigan

CRYSTAL, Mich. — Kasey Jedrzejek picked up his second Great Lakes Super Sprints presented by Engine Pro & ARP victory Saturday night at Crystal Speedway.

The moment Jedrzejek hit the track, he dominated. By the end of the first lap, he had overtaken Max Stambaugh, who had started in pole position. It was a remarkably clean race, with 23 caution-free laps.

On the 22nd lap, Stambaugh was hot on Jedrzejek’s tail and nearly passed him before the yellow flag came out. During the restart, Kasey maintained his lead for the final two laps.

With the good fortune of drawing the second position in the redraw, Kasey skillfully navigated through lapped traffic to clinch his second victory of the season.

Stambaugh, Dustin Daggett, Gary Taylor and Jared Horstman completed the top five.
