WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. — Derek Hagar hustled from the eighth starting spot to take his eighth United Sprint Car Series win of the season on Saturday night at Riverside Int’l Speedway.
Hagar took the lead with three laps to go in the 30-lap feature when Brad Bowden dropped out of the lead and the race with engine issues.
Polesitter Marshall Skinner led the first four laps of the race and finished second. Third went to Hayden Martin and Landon Crawley took the fourth spot.
Dale Howard raced from 17th to finish fifth.
