Having picked up his eighth World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series triumph of the season Saturday at Wisconsin’s Cedar Lake Speedway, David Gravel remains on top of the National Sprint Car Rankings.
Gravel, who earned the $250,000 payday in the June 24 High Bank Nationals at South Dakota’s Huset’s Speedway, has an average finish of 4.974 in 39 starts this season.
Brad Sweet, who leads Gravel by four points in the World of Outlaws standings, is second in the rankings with a 5.590 average finish in 39 races.
Carson Macedo ranks third with a 5.769 average finish. Rico Abreu and A.J. Flick round out the top five.
Sixty-three drivers have now made the 20 starts required to be eligible for the National Sprint Car Rankings.
Six hundred and 93 drivers have started at least one 410 winged sprint car feature this season.
Anthony Macri leads the Eastern region standings and Joe B. Miller paces the Mid-America region.
Cap Henry remains on top in the Great Lakes region, with Austin McCarl ahead of the Great Plains competitors.
Corey Day leads both the Western and Northwest region standings.
A.J. Flick maintained the top spot in the PA-Ohio region.
One hundred and 16 drivers have combined to win the 234 features run so far this season.
