Gravel Heads National Rankings With One Week Remaining

David Gravel earned his 13th victory of the season Thursday night at The Dirt Track at Charlotte and continues to lead the National Sprint Car Rankings with only one week of racing remaining the season.

Gravel ends his season with an average finish of 3.349 in 78 starts.

Rico Abreu, who scored two second-place finishes during the World finals, is second with a 3.545 average finish in 70 starts.

Brad Sweet, who secured his fifth consecutive World of Outlaws championship with his 13th triumph of the season on Saturday night, ranks third with a 3.603 average finish.

Brent Marks and Carson Macedo round out the top five.

Nine hundred and 12 racers have run a winged 410 sprint car race this season.

Freddie Rahmer holds the top spot in the Eastern region, while Joe B. Miller leads the Mid-America region.

Cap Henry heads the Great Lakes region, with Mark Dobmeier on top of the Great Plains region.

Justin Sanders holds the top of the Western region, with Trey Starks on top in the Northwest region. A.J. Flick anchors the PA-Ohio region.

One hundred and 57 drivers have combined to win the 474 features run this season. 

Rahmer leads the country with 17 victories.
