COLUMBUS, Miss. — New Jersey hot-shoe Davie Franek chased pole starter Koty Adams for more than half of the 30-lap USCS feature before grabbing the lead in lapped traffic and winning Saturday’s event at Magnolia Motor Speedway.
Franek earned $3,000 for the victory.
Franek crossed under the checkers only a car length ahead of Adams, who was driving Dustin Gates’ No. 6.
Matt Covington finished in third place, followed by ninth starting Brad Bowden and Lee Moore.
