Franek Flies In ESS Speedweek Go

FULTON, N.Y. — Davie Franek became the fourth different winner in as many nights of Empire Super Sprints Speedweek Saturday night at Fulton Speedway.

Franek raced from seventh starting position on the quarter-mile dirt track to claim the 25-lap event ahead of Shawn Donath.

Jordan Poirier, Dylan Swiernik and Jason Barney rounded out the top five.

Chris Cunningham raced from the pole to win his first DIRTcar modified main event of the season, beating Tim Sears Jr. to the checkered flag.

Alan Fink and Andrew Buff each won 25-lap sportsman features. Casey Cunningham topped the hobby stock race and Skylar Greenfield won the novice sportsman race.
