Flud Rules The Day At Creek County

SAPULPA, Okla. — Frank Flud and Braxton Weger each picked up feature wins on Wednesday night to open Sooner 600 Week at Creek County Speedway with the Dirt2Media NOW600 Micro Sprint National Championship.

A staggering field of 91 entries made the call to the northeastern Oklahoma oval, which was the first time in 54 days that the NOW600 National Series has been in action.

Frank Flud begin his double with a trip to victory lane in Stock Non-Wing. Isaiah Garcia advanced eight places to cross in second with the DSR Power Hard Charger recipient, Jadyn Friesen making up the podium. Justin Zimmerman was fourth with Colton Robinson the top five.

Flud went on the capture the 25-lap Winged A-Class feature on Wednesday after starting fifth. Jadyn Friesen was in hot pursuit but came home second with Colton Robinson advancing 11 places to finish third and was also the nights DSR Power Hard Charger. Robert Randolph had a career best National finish placing fourth. Kaden Weger made up the top five.

Braxton Weger bested the field of 24 in Restricted. Garyn Howard finished in the runner up position with Cash Lacombe the podium. Mattix McBride claimed the fourth spot with T.J. Stark rounding out the top five.
