Day Takes Command Of National Sprint Car Rankings Lead

Corey Day has ascended to the top of the National Sprint Car Rankings after the NARC 410 Sprint Car Series points leader reached the required 20 starts, with an average finish of 3.850. In 15 of those starts, the 17-year-old has finished in the top-three, including eight victories. 

World of Outlaws NOS Energy Sprint Car Series points leader David Gravel holds firm in second with an average finish of 5.0, with fellow outlaws competitor Brad Sweet close behind, boasting an average finish of 5.477.

Carson Macedo and Rico Abreu round out the top five. 

Seventy-six drivers have now made the 20 starts required to be eligible for the National Sprint Car Rankings.

Seven hundred and 39 drivers have started at least one 410 winged sprint car feature this season.

There was a bit of movement among the regional leaders, with Freddie Rahmer overtaking Anthony Macri (Eastern), along with Mark Dobmeier taking over the Great Plains top spot. 

Joe B. Miller (Mid-America), Cap Henry (Great Lakes), Corey Day (Western and Northwestern) and A.J. Flick (PA-Ohio) continue to the lead way in their respective regions. 

One hundred and 25 drivers have combined to win the 269 features run this season. 

Freddie Rahmer leads the country with 10 victories.
