With 42 410 winged sprint car races run so far this season, familiar names are at the top of the regional rankings for the four divisions that have already opened the season.
The National Sprint Car Rankings will begin when drivers begin reaching the 20-start plateau. Anthony Macri, who won Saturday’s High Limit sprint car feature at Texas Motor Speedway, is the closest to that mark with 18 races under his belt.
Danny Dietrich leads the Eastern region, while World of Outlaws point leader David Gravel paces the Mid-America region, Brent Marks tops the Western region and Nate Dussel is on top in Great Lakes.
Twenty-nine drivers have won the 42 features run so far this season.
Macri leads the nation with four victories.
