WAYNESVILLE, Ga. — Tyler Courtney romped to his second High Limit Racing winged sprint car victory of the season on the opening night of #DuecesWild Thursday at Golden Isles Speedway.
Driving the Clauson-Marshal Racing No. 7bc, Courtney started on the pole and led all 25 laps of the three-eighths-mile dirt track to win his second consecutive High Limit race and take the point lead after three events.
Courtney held off Brent Marks, who started third in the 25-car main event.
Polesitter Justin Peck, Parker Price-Miller and Spencer Bayston rounded out the top five.
Series co-owners Brad Sweet and Kyle Larson finished sixth and eighth, respectively.
Marks set a track record during qualifying with a best lap of 12.759 seconds.
High Limit is off Friday night before returning to the track at Golden Isles on Saturday.
