Consistent Sweet Returns To Sprint Rankings Lead

With a consistent weekend in World of Outlaws competition at Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway, Brad Sweet has returned to the top of the National Sprint Car Rankings.

Sweet’s average finish of 5.484 in 31 starts places him slightly ahead of last week’s leader Carson Macedo. Macedo boasts an average finish of 5.548 in 31 races.

David Gravel, who won Saturday at Knoxville, ranks third with an average finish of 5.677 in 31 starts.

Rico Abreu and Pennsylvania racer A.J. Flick round out the top five.

Thirty-eight drivers have now made the 20 starts required to be eligible for the National Sprint Car Rankings.

Six hundred and 37 drivers have started at least one 410 winged sprint car feature this season.

Anthony Macri leads the Eastern region standings, with the top three drivers separated by only 12 points.

Joe B. Miller heads the Mid-America region.

Cap Henry remains on top in the Great Lakes region, while Brenham Crouch has taken the lead in the Great Plains standings.

Corey Day is best in the Western region, Flick paces the PA-Ohio region and Trey Starks is on top in the Northwestern division.

Ninety-one drivers have combined to win the 180 features run so far this season.

Freddie Rahmer leads the country with eight victories.
