Business Picking Up In Latest Sprint Car Rankings

It was the busiest weekend of 410 winged sprint car racing this season, with 19 features run and eight drivers winning for the first time this season.

There are now eight drivers who have reached the 20 starts required to be ranked in the National Sprint Car Rankings with Carson Macedo leading the way with an average finish of 6.429 in 21 races.

Anthony Macri (6.760) and Brent Marks (6.913) round out the top three.

Twelve drivers have made 19 starts and are only one shy of entering the rankings. Three-time World of Outlaws champion Brad Sweet leads that group with an average finish of 5.632.

Macri leads the Eastern region with 1,027 points and a national-best eight victories.

With a pair of NARC victories over the weekend, Dominic Scelzi moved to the top of the Western region standings.

Kasey Burch and Jeff Asher are tied atop the Mid-America region.

With three victories this season, Cole Macedo leads the Great Lakes region by more than 200 points.

Austin McCarl leads the Mid-America region and Sye Lynch, who won twice this weekend, tops the PA-Ohio region.

Fifty-four drivers have combined to win 94 features run this season.
