CONCORD, N.C. – Reigning World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series champion and current point leader Brad Sweet leads the National Sprint Car Rankings, as 15 drivers have now made the mandatory 20 starts.
Sweet, who has seven victories this year, has a national-best average finish of 3.2 in 20 starts aboard his familiar Kasey Kahne Racing No. 49.
Kyle Larson ranks second with a 4.952 average finish in 21 starts in Paul Silva’s No. 57.
Logan Schuchart, who banked $30,000 for winning Saturday’s Jackson Nationals at the Jackson (Minn.) Motorplex, sits third with a 6.3 average finish in 20 starts.
All Star Circuit of Champions point leader Aaron Reutzel is fourth and Donny Schatz is fifth.
Freddie Rahmer, who ranks sixth nationally, continues to lead the Eastern region standings.
Cap Henry grabbed his third victory of the season Friday night at Ohio’s Attica Raceway Park and leads the Great Lakes region.
Sweet grabbed the top spot in the Great Plains region, ahead of Austin McCarl. The top five in the Mid-America region remains unchanged, with Larson still on top.
Brandon Spithaler leads the Ohio-Pennsylvania quadrant and Dominic Scelzi is atop the Western region.
Forty-five drivers have won the 86 features contested this season.
