Boschele Runs Down Park For Golden Driller

TULSA, Okla. — A stroke of luck is sometimes all it takes, and the caution played to the favor of Gavan Boschele on Saturday night, with the result being his first Golden Driller in Stock Non-Wing action at the 38th annual Lucas Oil Tulsa Shootout.

Leading until lap 25 when Jace Park jumped to the top and took over the point in traffic; the caution lights came on as the field worked lap 28 when third-running Cannon McIntosh suffered a failed power plant under the bonnet of his No. 08c.

Boschele took to the bottom on the restart and swept out in front of Park for the lead. Boschele held off Park to win by .497 seconds.

Austin Torgerson finished third, with Emerson Axsom, who won the Outlaw feature, coming home fourth. Trey Marcham was fifth.
