WILMOT, Wis. – Bill Balog survived a late charge from Hunter Schuerenberg to win Sunday’s Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series feature at Wilmot Raceway.
Balog, coming off a victory Saturday at the Plymouth Dirt Track, also won the most recent stop for the series at Wilmot on June 13.
Schuerenberg settled for second, followed by Joey Moughan, Blake Nimee and Jake Blackhurst.
Sports car racer turned sprint car driver Sean Rayhall set fast time in qualifying. Heats were won by Jordan Goldesberry, Schuerenberg and Scott Neitzel. The dashes were won by Balog and Moughan.
Davey Ray won for the second-straight night at Wilmot Raceway in the Autometer/Brewington Electric Wisconsin Wingless Sprint Series feature. Devon Dixon won the Bandit 4-Cylinder Stock Car feature.
