Barney Cops Fulton ESS Glory

FULTON, N.Y. — Jason Barney raced from seventh starting spot to win the Empire Super Sprints feature that headlined Friday night’s program during Fulton 200 weekend at Fulton Speedway.

Driving the familiar No. 87 winged sprint car, Barney led polesitter Chuck Hebing to the checkered flag in the 25-lap run.

Danny Varin, Jordan Poirier and Larry Wight rounded out the top five.

Tim Sears Jr., Dylan Zacharias, Wight and Zachary Payne won qualifying races for the modifieds.

Sportsman qualifier winners were David Moyer, Cody Manitta, Kevin Stevens, Tony Finch, Nick Heywood and Kyle Devendorf.
