410 Sprints Returning To Kutztown’s Action Track

KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania Posse and its 410 sprint car counterparts are returning to Action Track USA next summer on Sunday, June 12.

The Keystone State’s premier race division debuted at the popular micro facility — renovated to a quarter mile with added banking and wider racing surface — last June and garnered an 18-car field.

That isn’t the lone date full-sized sprint cars will star in Kutztown this June. The USAC East Coast Sprint Car Series have two races scheduled at the quarter-mile dirt oval on Wednesday, June 13 and Wednesday, Aug. 3.

The track’s opener is set for Sunday, May 8 with a 35-lap, $3,000-to-win SpeedSTR event accompanied by 600 sprints and slingshots.

Overall, 17 events comprise Action Track USA’s schedule next year, which mostly consists of the track’s weekly divisions of SpeedSTRs (11 races), 600 sprints (15 races), slingshots (11 races) and junior slingshots (seven races).

The track’s marquee SpeedSTR event, the 75-lap, $5,000-to-win Dick Tobias Classic, is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 20, with the season finale slated for Wednesday, Aug. 31 a four-division championship night.
