VIDEO: T-Mez Talks Chili Bowl ‘Landmines’

TULSA, Okla. — On Tuesday night, Thomas “T-Mez” Meseraull kicked off his 18th year at the Chili Bowl Nationals with a sixth-place finish in his prelim.

The California native is piloting the No. 7t midget for Tim Engler and will start his journey through Chili Bowl’s alphabet soup in a B main on Saturday.

After finishing 17th in last year’s finale, Meseruall is attempting to make his 11th career A main appearance.

Prior to Saturday’s soup, T-Mez sat down with “On The Drive” podcasts hosts Grace Woelbing and Taylor Ferns to talk about his history at the Chili Bowl, some personal examples of “Chili Bowl luck,” battling Danny Lasoski in Tulsa and more.
