Torgerson Lands First Chili Bowl Ride

With his 2022 season in the books, Ashton Torgerson is already busy putting together his plans for 2023.

Set to take part in the Tulsa Shootout to kick his new season off, Torgerson is also set for a new challenge as he will make his Chili Bowl debut aboard a Meyer-Rossi Motorsports entry.

2022 saw the Medford, Ore. driver take a huge step in his career as he got his feet wet in a handful of Winged 360ci Sprint Car events in California, and this opportunity to run the Chili Bowl is another step for the rising star who had an impressive season.

Netting 35 wins and the Dixon Track Championship in Super 600 Winged and Non-Winged classes, as well as the Plaza Park Non Winged Title,  Torgerson also racked 85 top-10’s and 66 top-five finishes as he filled a stat sheet very well.

Kicking his 2023 season off in the Tulsa Shootout over the course of the last week of December, Torgerson will look to capitalize on the valuable track time as he embarks on his Chili Bowl debut back in Tulsa, Okla. January 9-14.

Torgerson will drive for Meyer-Rossi Motorsports as he will wheel the Stanton SR 11X powered Stewart Chassis with support from Apache Transport, U.S. AutoCure, AMT America, Boulevard Truck Repair, and Stewart Fabrication.
