Thornton Jr. On Reinbold/Underwood Chili Bowl Roster

Ricky Thornton Jr. will be one of five drivers on the Reinbold/Underwood Motorsports roster for the upcoming 38th annual Chili Bowl Nationals.

Reinbold/Underwood Motorsports confirmed their driver lineup for the January indoor midget racing event via social media on Tuesday afternoon. Hayden Reinbold, Mitchel Moles, Cole Bodine and Carsen Perkins will race alongside Thornton Jr. at the Chili Bowl.

Dirt late model driver Thornton Jr. is coming off a career year on the dirt track. He picked up 34 race wins across his dirt late model and micro sprint endeavors. Among those are three World of Outlaws Late Model Series victories and 19 full-field triumphs in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.

He will run the No. 19r for Reinbold at the Chili Bowl.

Nineteen-year-old Hayden Reinbold, who recently won his first national midget race during the Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series finale at I-44 Riverside Speedway in Oklahoma, will pilot the No. 19a during the six-night event at Tulsa Expo Raceway.

He finished sixth in the D main this past January.

Moles, who was the USAC National Midget Rookie of the Year in 2022, will guide the No. 19t entry. His best finish at the Chili Bowl Nationals was a seventh-place result in the A main this year.

Bodine will wheel the No. 19b, while Perkins is set to pilot the No. 19p.Â
