TULSA, Okla. – The fields are nearly set for the finales of the 37th annual Tulsa Shootout, with the first group of drivers having secured starting positions in the six championship features.
Craig Ronk will start from the pole in the headlining 55-lap feature for the outlaw winged division, with Tommy Kunsman joining him on the front row for Saturday’s finale.
Reigning Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series champion Blake Hahn secured the pole for the outlaw non-winged division, where he’ll be joined on the front row by Jeffrey Newell.
Emerson Axsom, who locked himself into three features by the end of Friday, will lead the field to the green flag in the stock non-winged division. Reigning USAC East Coast Sprint Car Series champion Alex Bright starts second.
Kyle Spence earned enough passing points to claim the pole for the A class feature, where he’ll be joined on the front row by Jake Hagopian.
Jett Nunley powered to the pole for Saturday’s restricted A class finale, with Brecken Reese securing the second starting position.
Eli Hoden will start from the pole for the junior sprint finale. Ayla Morefield will start alongside him in second.
Fifty-nine races remain during the 37th edition of the Tulsa Shootout, with competitors running B mains (and C mains in junior sprints) to set the final starting positions in the six divisions.
