Rumble Quarter Midgets To Carry Baker Racing Engines Sponsor

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — As one of the most recognized names in quarter midget racing throughout the Midwest, Baker Racing Engines will extend their passion and support of the sport to indoor racing and the Rumble in Fort Wayne presented by Jason Dietsch Trailer Sales for the third consecutive year.

The event is set to run on December 29-30 and be broadcast live on Pit Row TV

Recognizing the amount of effort required to make the trek for the annual mid-winter event, BRE will again present a daily ‘On the Gas’ award.

“It takes a lot of effort to pull into victory lane at the Rumble,” cited Javen Mendoza, BRE owner, “and teams travel from great distances to be a part of this tremendous event. Their support in putting on a quality racing program for the Rumble fans is appreciated and we wanted to reward them in a small way. Each morning, during the driver meeting we will pull a driver’s name out of a bucket and reward that team with a $50 gas certificate.

“Without a doubt, quarter midget racing at the Rumble is unique and challenging. It differs quite a bit from the racing that we do throughout the season, with the size of the oval and the speeds obtained by the drivers. It takes discipline and precision to race the Rumble,” Mendoza continued. “These also reflect our philosophy at Baker Racing Engines, so we feel this is a natural fit.”

Each day of the Rumble in Fort Wayne features a full program of racing for the six classes of quarter midget racing, who will join the full-sized midgets, winged and non-winged 600cc midgets and go-karts in the 25th running of the popular off-season event.
