Miller, Key & Nunley Strike On Night Two Of Sooner 600 Week

SAPULPA, Okla. – Gavin Miller, Noah Key and Jett Nunley recorded Sooner 600 Week triumphs during round two of the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi-Plains Building Division spectacle on Thursday at Creek County Speedway.

Miller garnered his second straight Stock Non-Wing win after lining up on the pole for the 25-lap feature. Johnny Boland finished second with Kenton Brewer third, 13th-starting Trey Zorn fourth and Garrett Hulsey fifth.

Miller, Boland and Chelby Hinton earned heat race wins. Cole Esgar was the B Main winner.

Key held off 10th-starting Corbin Rueschenberg to score his second career Winged A Class victory with the series and extend his lead in the championship standings. Miller was third with Garrett Benson fourth. Zorn advanced from 14th to fifth.

Miller, Jace McIntosh and Colby Sokol each won a heat race. Brewer captured the B Main.

Nunley earned a trip into the NOW600 Series Restricted A Class Victory Lane for the first time. Talin Turner posted a runner-up result with points leader Benson ending third, Scout Spraggins fourth and Rueschenberg fifth.

Benson, Nunley, Turner and Elijah Gile were victorious during heat races. Jayden Clay claimed the B Main.
