C.J. Leary, Jake Swanson and Kevin Thomas Jr. will complete the three-car lineup for Alex Bowman Racing at the upcoming Chili Bowl Nationals.
ABR released the roster for the Jan. 7-13 event in Tulsa, Okla., via social media on Friday.
Leary, 2019 USAC national sprint car champion, will pilot the No. 55v entry during his 12th Chili Bowl appearance. His best finish in the A main was seventh in 2022.
Swanson, who won four features on the USAC national sprint car scene this year, will steer the No. 55a at Tulsa Expo Raceway. The California native also ran the No. 55 ABR 410 winged sprint car during the latter half of the High Limit Racing season after team owner Bowman injured his back in a sprint car crash.
USAC national sprint car ace Thomas Jr. will be behind the wheel of the No. 55x during the Chili Bowl.
He finished 12th in Saturday’s A main last year after starting 19th. Thomas Jr.’s best finish at the prestigious event was eighth in 2022.
Meanwhile, Bowman will not race the event after running the last two years.
